Common questions
Select a question and start with the issue you are seeing. Are Live Photos the same as LIVP, HEIC, or MOV files?+
Not exactly. Live Photo is Apple’s capture and playback feature. After export or transfer, you may receive a LIVP / LVIP package or separate HEIC / HEIF still and MOV video files. This site handles the files you actually select.
Which formats are supported?+
LIVP, HEIC, HEIF, MOV, MP4, JPEG, PNG, and WebP are supported. LIVP prefers the embedded HEIC still image, while MOV/MP4 exports a still frame.
What is the output quality?+
JPG uses 0.92 quality by default. PNG is lossless. Final quality depends on the source file.
Are my files uploaded?+
No. Conversion runs inside the browser, so the server cannot read your photos.
Why do some Live Photos fail?+
Browser support for HEIC and video codecs varies. Try Safari or Chrome if one file fails.
Can I batch convert files?+
Yes. Select multiple files, convert the queue, then download images one by one or as a ZIP.
