How it works

Apple Live Photos usually combine a still image with a short video clip. Many forms, archives, and older services only accept static images, so exporting the still frame as JPG or PNG makes the file easier to upload, print, archive, and share.

Recommended flow

  1. 1

    Upload files

Drop or select one or more LIVP, HEIC, HEIF, or MOV files.

  2. 2

    Choose output

Pick JPG for sharing or PNG for higher fidelity.

  3. 3

    Convert locally

The browser processes the queue and extracts still images or video frames.

  4. 4

    Download

Download files one by one or package every result as a ZIP.

How to choose a format

LIVP / LVIP

Usually a package that may contain both a HEIC still and a MOV clip. The converter prefers the still image.

HEIC / HEIF

Common efficient image formats from iPhone. Browser support varies, so Safari or Chrome may behave differently.

MOV / MP4

When no still image is available, the converter exports an early frame from the motion clip.

When to use JPG or PNG

JPG keeps files smaller for upload, sharing, and web use. PNG is lossless and better for editing, documentation, or images that need clean edge detail.
